So I just found the random demo of my Easter song I wrote last year just after Easter ;p
I put it on our myspace for a couple of days just for fun - don't tell Kieran, he hates my 'holiday' songs!

and hey, coming very soon - some non-easter songs for your listening pleasure...

...well, not really. But I did spend a couple of weeks in the hospital and get to experience the joys of having a tiny camera stuck up my arse - ew, gross. So if you've been wondering why we've been so quiet this year, the main reason is I've been really sick. Turns out I have Crohn's disease which is pretty lame - BUT the doctors have me on a bunch of drugs now so I'm feeling pretty good :D Actually, after my enforced 'holiday' I'm feeling pretty awesome (or maybe that's the drugs talking) and I'm super keen to get the Anti-Venom ball rolling again.

We've been jamming with a drummer and putting out our feelers for any other drummers who might want to come play with us. So any drummers out there - get in touch! We've also got a few things we did while Sam was still in Auckland that we'll share with you as soon as I get myself properly sorted and back into this real life thing again.

Hi guys,

sorry we've been a little bit quiet here on the website - I'm using the christmas rush as an excuse. If you really do miss my constant babble I put plenty of it on twitter on my personal account @lethallime and the band account @antivenom.

Anyway, we've played a couple of shows since the last time I blogged I think. We had an amazing time at both of them - playing a show is the best way to blast away that christmas stress. We've also been working on getting some more Audio-Visual Anti-Venom goodies for you to delight in (yes that's right AV-AV) and hopefully we'll be able to share these with you soon - these things always take much longer than you'd expect!

To summarise: this year is soooo 2009 and it's all happening next year so stay tuned :) We'll be playing some more shows in January so make sure you come along if you want to catch us pulling out some new songs.
